Placing an order

Did my order go through?

You should normally receive an order confirmation with an order number by email immediately after your order has gone through.

If you have not received such an e-mail, it may be because the e-mail address for order information has been entered incorrectly.

It may also be because the order confirmation email has ended up in your junk mail.

If you contact us and provide the item number for one of the items you meant to order, we can investigate further.

Companies, institutions

Corporate agreement

Companies and institutions can make purchases without a separate agreement with Ibec Publishing. We have a 10% discount on all books purchased by companies and institutions on ibecpublishing.com. Please contact ordre@ibecpublishing.com with information about your company. We will review it and send you a discount code that can be used on purchases.

How do I use a discount code?

Discount codes on ibecpublishing.com are added to the shopping cart before the order is finalized.

The code is entered in the field that says “Got a coupon? Click here to enter your code”. Then remember to press “Use coupon”. It is only possible to use one discount code per order. Separate terms for the discount code will be specified when it is sent out.

Why can’t I find my order on My page?

Please contact us if your order is not visible on “My page”. Please state the order number of the order you cannot find again.

Delivery of your order

We ship items as soon as they are in stock, and we also ship items from multiple warehouse locations. Therefore, you may not receive all the items in one shipment.

When the partial orders are sent by post, you will receive an SMS with a tracking link.

Shipping terms and conditions

– We offer free shipping on all orders over NOK 599,- with Helthjem Posten/Bring!

For orders under NOK 599,-(5kg) the price is NOK 82,-

– For parcels to a pick-up point/parcel shipments to Svalbard, a surcharge will be added to the price in accordance with Bring’s Svalbard surcharge.

Processing time

– Ibec Publishing is a green company. A green company is a company that focuses on environmentally friendly practices. To become a green company, we focus on making sustainable choices in the way we operate. Therefore, we do our utmost to reduce waste. Ibec Publishing does not store books in our warehouse. Our books, whether it’s one or a thousand copies, are printed when they are ordered. In this way, we can reduce waste. Because each book is printed when it is ordered, our deliveries take a little longer than those of traditional publishers and booksellers who store books in warehouses. But we do our best to complete and deliver each book within 14 days of ordering.

– Addresses in the northernmost counties of Norway will have the longest delivery time. We cannot guarantee that all items will arrive within the stated delivery times.

– Service parcel – delivery to a postal collection point: For larger parcels

Where and how will the parcel(s) be delivered?

We want the goods to be delivered to you as quickly as possible, which is why we divide them into several shipments if this is faster.

Items delivered to your home/doormat cannot weigh more than five kilograms, and must be shorter than 45 cm, and length+width+height <90 cm. When ordering multiple items that are within the dimensions, we split the package.

If the parcel is larger than these measurements, it will be sent to the nearest delivery point. In cases where there is no access to a mailbox or doormat, or in zones where doorstep delivery is not offered, parcels will be delivered from the nearest delivery point and customers will be notified of where the shipment can be collected.

Processing of personal data in Ibec Publishing

Ibec Publishing is committed to protecting the information security of our customers and handles all personal data in a secure manner. We do not sell or disclose personal data to third parties, and do not exchange personal data with others.

Why and what kind of personal data we collect

Completing sales on Ibec Publishing

When you shop on ibecpublishing.com, we collect your name, address, email, mobile phone, shipping options, items purchased, payment options, card recognition code, time of purchase/sending, encrypted password. The processing takes place on the basis of the purchase agreement with you.

Sale/distribution of e-books

We collect name, e-mail, card recognition code, time of login, electronic devices used for purchase and reading, location, purchase history, time of account creation, e-books purchased through Bokskya. The processing takes place on the basis of the purchase agreement with you.

Your rights and deletion of personal data

You can at any time withdraw your consent to our processing of personal data. You can get an overview of your personal data, change or delete your account/personal data by logging into your account at ibecpublishing.com.

How long do we store your personal data?

We store your personal data with us for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which the personal data was collected.

This means, for example, that personal data that we process on the basis of your consent is deleted if you withdraw your consent.

Returns and exchanges

Private customers can exchange books and other goods within 14 days of purchase or delivery from ibecpublishing.com. Items can be exchanged for other items or vouchers. You cannot get a refund. If you have an outstanding invoice, this must be paid. If you prefer a refund/invoice credited, you are welcome to make use of the right of withdrawal – see the section on Right of withdrawal.

Right of withdrawal

Who has the right to use the right of withdrawal?

Private customers have the right to return ordered faultless goods in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act.

Notification of return should be sent through our contact us form

immediately upon receipt of the item, and no later than 14 days after delivery. Always contact our customer service through our form and await further instructions before returning the item. If the item has been used, as your own, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised.

The message should contain the following information:

1) Order number (from the order confirmation you received by email)

2) Title of the products you wish to return.

3) A brief explanation of why the product is being returned

The returned goods must be in unused and undamaged condition in their original packaging. Return the item together with a completed withdrawal form with information about the order number and customer number to the address on the withdrawal form. You must pay for the return postage yourself. Returns cannot be made on demand or cash on delivery.

Which purchases are exempt from the right of withdrawal?

The right of withdrawal does not apply to e-books and downloadable audio books

Complaints

– The goods you receive must of course be faultless. If an item is faulty, please contact us as soon as you receive such an item, at the latest within 5 working days of receiving the item. We will help you with a solution. After inspection of the product, we will offer you a replacement at no cost.

– If you want money back for the item or invoice credited, the item must be returned.

Credit note

If we send you a voucher, you can use it to purchase any other product on our website. The product must be in the same price range as the amount on the voucher. If you want a more expensive product, you must pay the difference.
